The Farm and Animals
We try to keep all our animal editions
pedigree and of British native species.

The farm started with a flock of Chickens
in 2006
(fresh eggs available). We have
since add a variety of animals, some
shown below.

Our 2 standard donkeys, Mandy (Grey) and Jake (Brown). They joined Westhill
Farm in 2008. Mandy is the oldest. Both donkeys came from a breeding family in
Bideford. They are proud parents of 2 daughters, the latest is May.
We have 3 Gloucester Old-spot pigs and 1 tamworth pig. Spotty, Dotty and Nasty
are our breeding sows. Pictured is Nic with one of her 2010 litters. We are
constantly introducing new pigs to our farm. We have taken delivery of a new
boar, Horris. He has already fathered 2 litters this year.
We now have a total of 8 breading South Devon females. Pictured to the right is
Mistletoe our Jersey. We also have 15 beef calves that we hope will grow fit and
strong on our farmland.
These are our New Hampshire Sheep. Our flock is now around 25 including this
years lambing.
This is Tansy Galant our stud ram. He has proven to be a real asset to our
breeding stock, being the father for 3 seasons so far and this one is no exception.
